Rock Fall RF108 Fly S3 safety trainer

The RF108 Fly safety trainer from Rock Fall footwear is a breathtakingly lightweight and highly appealing safety trainer with a groundbreaking design to be sustainable to its core.
 
We say groundbreaking due to the eco credentials without compromise to its wear performance,  and also being verified by The Vegan Society. It features recycled plastic bottle upper textiles, lining and lace materials, providing outstanding comfort along with breathability and water repellent properties, water often runs off!
 
It has a 100% non-metallic construction, including a fibreglass toecap and composite midsole.  Both features help to provide its S3 protection rating, the fibreglass toecap protects from falling objects and compression, and the penetration resistant composite midsole helps prevent sharp objects from puncturing the sole.  These meet the requirements of the EN ISO 20345:2011 standard, shock resistance is 200 J, resistance to compression is 15000 N, resistance to nail penetration is 1100 N.
All day comfort comes from an Activ-Step® PU anti-fatigue comfort footbed.
 
The dual density EVA nitrile rubber outsole provides abrasion resistance and exceptional shock absorption and weight reduction.  SRC rated for slip resistance (highest performance rating), it offers grip on wet and slippery surfaces, and is also resistant to oils.
