The Raptor uses a new, extremely durable Putek Hypertex fabric that combines extreme abrasion resistance with lightness. This robust fabric has demonstrated in laboratory tests that it resists well over 950 thousand abrasive cycles, surpassing the best fabrics available on the market.
 
It has lightweight, non-metallic protective components, comprised of a composite toecap & anti-perforation textile-plate midsole. The composite toecap protect from falling objects and compression, and the penetration resistant textile midsole helps prevent sharp objects from puncturing the sole.  These meet the requirements of the EN ISO 20345:2011 standard, shock resistance is 200 J, resistance to compression is 15000 N, resistance to nail penetration is 1100 N.
 
All day comfort comes from a breathable Airnet Spacer 3D lining & anatomically shaped insole. 
 
A lightweight & extremely flexible 2-layer PU/TPU sole provides exceptional shock absorption and weight reduction. SRC rated for slip resistance (highest performance rating), it offers grip on wet and slippery surfaces, and is also resistant to oils.
