3M G3000 safety helmet

The G3000 safety helmet from 3M is designed for use in harsh environments, with excellent ventilation and a good field of vision. The ventilation holes are distributed over a large area offer maximum through-flow of air increasing wearer comfort. A short peak gives improved upwards visibility and the slim design means that falling objects slide off easily and do not dislodge the helmet from its position. A softly rounded design, without any sharp or protruding components, helps to avoid helmet parts snagging on branches, etc. The six-point webbing harness ensures the helmet is comfortable to wear and can be rotated 180° for better visibility when working in confined spaces. The pin-lock headband is fully adjustable for most head sizes ensuring a secure supported fit and permitting a wide range of head movements. Incorporates the 3M Uvicator™ red sensor disc on the outer shell - this highlights when the hard hat has been over-exposed to UV radiation and needs replacing. The helmet shell is manufactured from UV stabilised ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene) and optional attachments are available (chin strap, ear protection, face protection). Conforms to EN 397 for industrial safety helmets (shock absorption, penetration, flame resistance).
